Each day is completely free and delivered by qualified industry professionals who’ll guide you through the tools, skills and opportunities in these in-demand trades. No experience needed, just curiosity and a willingness to give it a go.
Come along, roll up your sleeves, and see if a trade could be your next big move. Whether you’re exploring a career change or just want to try something new, this is your chance to step into the world of trades, with no pressure and plenty of support.

| Who |
Young women aged 14 to 24. You don't have to attend CathWest, in fact you may have little knowledge of the workshops, however you are waiting to learn more and get involved in this hands-on workshop. |
| Transport | Students are to make their own way to and from the College. |
| Lunch | Lunch will be provided. Alternately students may bring their own lunch. |
| Dress Code | Long Sleeve top, Long Pants/Jeans, Closed in shoes/boots. |

🌿🧪 Year 11 Biology Excursion 🐍💧 On Tuesday 27th May, our Year 11 Biology students visited Penrith Lakes Environmental Education Centre for an exciting fieldwork experience as part of their Depth Studies assessment. Students explored the health of the Penrith Lakes ecosystem by: 🔍 Surveying bird life 🐟 Dip netting for aquatic animals 🧫 Testing abiotic factors like dissolved oxygen, phosphate levels & pH 🌟 Trip highlight? Our Year 11 Ancient History students had an incredible day at the Chau Chak Wing Museum, University of Sydney! With just six students, it felt like a private tour — made even more special by our guide Madeleine, an inspiring Honours student in Archaeology. From Ancient Egypt to Greece and Rome, students explored fascinating artefacts, even handling real primary sources.
