Each year the Bishop of Parramatta Award for Student Excellence recognises outstanding young men and women, at the culmination of their schooling, who witness their Catholic faith and achieve well in their academic, sporting, creative, vocational or community endeavours.
In addition, the Award is also a just recognition for the recipient’s parents who have nurtured their son or daughter, as well as teachers who have instilled a passion for excellence.
This year's recipient of the award from Nagle College is Cassidy Regan. Cassidy is our College Vice-Captain.
The citation for her award reads,
Cassidy Regan has carried the lantern high in her years at Nagle College, providing witness to the Gospel values.
She has been inspired by Nano Nagle's service to the needy through her commitment to social justice programmes.
She has contributed to the liturgical life of the school as an altar server and reader.
Cassidy has held many leadership positions including school vice-captain in 2020.
Cassidy is a focussed and committed learner who has achieved at the highest levels across her studies.
She is a gifted sportsperson. Cassidy is a person of faith, an outstanding student and an inspiring leader.
