On Friday the 6th of June, I had the pleasure of taking ten Year 10 students to the Blacktown City Council Ignite Forum.
The forum allowed visiting students to have their say on a number of strategic plans affecting the future of Blacktown. The students were able to represent the future of Blacktown and express their concerns and ideas.
As always, the students were fantastic on the day and it was great to see them actively participating with members of other schools from the community. Thank you to the following students:

Feed The 5000: Week 2 🥐🥞 Nagle has reintroduced our beloved “Feed The 5000” breakfast club this term! A big thank you to our Year 8 & 12 students, as well as the staff, who generously volunteered their time to prepare cheese toasties, cereal, and pastries before school. We’d love to see you again in two weeks’ time for breakfast, served from 8:00am to 8:30am, in front of the College Library!

STUDENT SPOTLIGHT 🌟🎨 As we recently shared, our talented Year 10 student Disha had her artwork selected for exhibition in the prestigious St Columba’s Art Show. We’re now delighted to share an exciting update—at Friday night’s event, Disha was awarded Highly Commended. This is an exceptional achievement, especially given the large number of outstanding entries, with only one overall winner and a small number of Highly Commended awards. The judging panel, made up of respected and well-known artists, also offered Disha thoughtful and encouraging feedback on her work. 2025 Good Friday Walk This year, Nagle College had fifteen Year 11 & 12 students accompanied by five Staff members to engage in the CYP Good Friday Walk. 1400 pilgrims journeyed to a number of churches in Blacktown, Seven Hills, Toongabbie, Wentworthville, Harris Park & Parramatta reflected on the Stations of the Cross, remembering Jesus’ ultimate sacrifice to save humanity from the darkness of sin.
