On Friday the 6th of June, I had the pleasure of taking ten Year 10 students to the Blacktown City Council Ignite Forum.
The forum allowed visiting students to have their say on a number of strategic plans affecting the future of Blacktown. The students were able to represent the future of Blacktown and express their concerns and ideas.
As always, the students were fantastic on the day and it was great to see them actively participating with members of other schools from the community. Thank you to the following students:

✨ Faith in Action! ✨ Last week, five of our Year 10 students embarked on a faith-filled pilgrimage to Melbourne for ACYF 2025! Over three incredible days, they encountered God through powerful plenary sessions, praise and worship, Eucharistic Adoration, and the prayer of the Rosary. Our students return inspired and energised, ready to share how they embraced their Catholic identity alongside more than 6,000 young people and with the support of clergy from across Australia. What a blessing for our community! 🙏💙✨

We’re excited to celebrate Japleen’s outstanding achievement! 🎉🏏 At just 15 years old, she played a key role in her team’s victory, scoring her maiden 50+ with an impressive 58 runs in Women’s 2nd Grade. Her performance was also recognised on the Penrith Cricket Club’s official Facebook page — a well-deserved acknowledgment of her talent and hard work. 🌟👏

✨ Our amazing Nagle Year 9s hosted a vibrant Walk The Talk mini-fair! 🛍️💗 From bracelets, cards, games and emergency kits to a jelly-bean guess and photo booth — every stall helped raise funds for Parramatta Women’s Shelter. 🎨 Students also signed an affirmation canvas to be gifted to the shelter. 👏 Huge thanks to our wonderful Nagle community for the incredible support! 💜
