Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese (CSPD) students have achieved some outstanding results and records at the recent 2024 NSW All Schools Athletics Championships at Sydney Olympic Park.

Patrician Brothers’ College Blacktown Year 9 student, Kalisi Aualiitia, broke the NSW All Schools record for the Boys 14 Years Hammer Throw (4kg). Kalisi’s incredible throw of 59.63m saw him claim a well-deserved gold to go alongside his bronze medal in Shot Put.

Fellow Patrician Brothers’ student, Jeremiah-Xyndel Tatupu, claimed double gold - winning the Boys Discus and Boys Hammer Throw in the 12 Years age group. Jeremiah also picked up a third medal with bronze in the Shot Put.

Luke Vrataric from St John XXIII Catholic College Stanhope Gardens, has once again demonstrated his potential to represent Australia at the Commonwealth Games and Olympics by setting a new NSW All Schools record in the Boys 17 Years Triple Jump.

Luke clinched a silver medal with his impressive jump of 15.14 metres, despite another competitor surpassing his record to take home the gold. Additionally, Luke earned silver in the Long Jump event.

The Catherine McAuley Westmead community was delighted to witness Annisha Reader secure double gold, triumphing in both the Girls 14 Years Discus and Hammer Throw. Meanwhile, Bede Polding College South Windsor student, Chelsea Roberts made an impressive showing, winning the Girls 19 Years 5000m Race Walk with a time of 25:22.63.

Starting high school is a big leap, and we’re proud to support our Year 7 students through the Human Connections: Big Fish into Little Fish program. 🎓🙌 This session is designed to turn that “small fish in a big pond” feeling into a strong sense of belonging within our Nagle community. Throughout the day, students focused on: 🤝 Building meaningful friendships 💪 Strengthening self-belief 🌟 Creating a positive and united Year 7 cohort By connecting, sharing, and setting shared expectations, our students are building the confidence and support networks they need to thrive. We are incredibly proud of how they are embracing this new chapter with courage and kindness. 🚀💙 #Year7 #StudentWellbeing #NagleCollege #SchoolCommunity
